This one-year-old Bourbon from Chuckanut Bay Distillery in Bellingham, Washington is distilled from locally grown grains and bottled at a higher proof than the standard Chuckanut Bay Bourbon. The nose has notes of linseed oil, lemon furniture polish, sandalwood, and hints of cedar and pine. The taste has a citrusy tartness with touches of caramel, honey, lemon pepper, and a hint of vanilla. The finish is long and tart with hints of spice and oak. (February, 2019)
