Chivas Regal Ultis. Photo ©2016, Mark Gillespie, CaskStrength Media. This is the first blended malt Scotch Whisky ever for Chivas Regal, and uses malts from just five distilleries: Strathisla, Longmorn, Tormore, Braeval, and Allt-a-Bhainne.

The nose is rich and fruity with notes of peaches, nectarines, honey, vanilla, subtle spices, and touches of grapefruit and dried flowers. The taste has a good oily mouthfeel with spicy notes of clove and white pepper. Lighter notes of peaches, nectarines, orange peel, and a touch of licorice add excellent balance. The finish is long and aromatic with hints of citrus, dried flowers, and licorice. Excellent! (October, 2016)
