This 13-year-old blend is partially finished in American Oak casks previously used for maturing Rye whiskey, and the influence is apparent. There are gentle spices on the nose along with hints of orange peel, milk chocolate, honey, and vanilla. The taste has a touch of cinnamon along with hints of clove and allspice complemented by vanilla and a citrusy tartness. The finish is long and gentle with subtle spices and a hint of citrus fruits.
