This whiskey blends together two casks of 10-year-old sourced Bourbon, and the nose has notes of old leather, pipe tobacco, caramel candy, subtle fruits, and a hint of spice. The taste has good spiciness from the start with a sweet base of honey, vanilla, and caramel notes while pepper, allspice, and ginger spices don’t overpower the sweetness and hints of leather and pipe tobacco hold everything together. The finish is long, complex, and consistent. (December, 2018)
