Canadian Club Chronicles 42 Years "The Dock Man." Image courtesy Canadian Club/Beam Suntory. This is the second annual release in the Canadian Club Chronicles series, following the 2018 release of the Chronicles 41-year-old. The name honors the dock workers who handled Canadian Club whiskies as bootleggers pulled their boats up to shore during the Prohibition era, and is a classic rye whisky in the Canadian tradition.

The nose has a touch of sweet corn, along with honey, vanilla, and a touch of butterscotch. The taste is creamy and smooth with soft spicy touches of black pepper and allspice balanced by honey, vanilla, and a soft hint of oak. The finish is long, smooth, and gentle with a hint of spice. Excellent! (November, 2019)
