This cask was bottled for Canada’s Companions of the Quaich whisky club, with 198 bottles produced. The nose has notes of honey, crystallized ginger, vanilla, straw, and dried flowers. The taste is dominated by clove, white pepper, and ginger balanced by lighter hints of caramel, chocolate, honey, and vanilla. The finish has those hints of chocolate, honey, caramel, and vanilla with a lingering touch of ginger. (January, 2019)
