Cadenhead’s Dailuane 2004 KWM Single Cask

Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Cadenhead's

ABV: 55.9%

Score: 89 Points

This 12-year-old Speyside single cask was bottled for Calgary’s Kensington Wine Market from a refill hogshead cask, and the nose is fresh, fruity, citrusy, and light with notes of fresh-cut grass, lemon zest, honey, and a nice maltiness. The taste is thick, tart and intense with lemon zest, and touches of malt, spice, vanilla, and honey. The finish is long and tart. A few drops of water smooths this whisky out nicely. (March, 2018)
