Bunnahabhain 2013 Moine Bordeaux Finish
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 59.5%
Score: 94 Points
One of Bunnahabhain’s 2021 Fèis Ìle releases, this single malt has a nice smoky nose with a good peatiness and hints of heather, gorse, grilled fruits, toasted coconut, honey, and a subtle hint of brine. The taste is smoky and pungent with sweet notes of dark honey and caramel sweetness underneath the peppery smokiness, while hints of grilled meats and a nice earthiness add complexity along with coconut and brine in the background. The finish is long, smoky, and dark with a lingering pepperiness. Wow! (June, 2021)
