Bunnahabhain 2008 Mòine Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Matured
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 58.1%
Score: 91 Points
This is the first Bunnahabhain to be matured completely in Bordeaux red wine casks from France, and the nose has notes of grape juice, fresh berries, soft spices, and a hint of oak. The taste has a thick, oily mouthfeel with touches of berry cobbler, clove, allspice, and dried fruits. The finish is long and fruity with touches of spice. (January, 2019)
