Bunnahabhain 2001 Marsala Cask Finish. Image courtesy Bunnahabhain. This is one of Bunnahabhain’s 2021 Fèis Ìle bottlings, and the nose is fruity and vibrant with a gentle kiss of grilled pineapple and touches of mango, coconut, dried flowers, and brown sugar. The taste is tropical and tart with mango, papaya, and citrus fruits balanced by grilled pineapple and toasted coconut that give it a gentle smokiness, along with a hint of brown sugar. The finish is long, thick, and fruity with a gentle smokiness. Excellent! (June, 2021)
