Bulleit 10
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Diageo
ABV: 45.6%
Score: 91 Points
The oldest Bourbon yet from Bulleit, but still distilled at Four Roses (unofficially, since Four Roses has never confirmed Tom Bulleit’s statements). The nose is rich with toasted rye bread and oak, honey, a hint of orange peel, vanilla, and molasses notes. The taste is thick and spicy with cinnamon, honey, maple syrup, orange peel, and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is aromatic with sweet honey and maple syrup and a hint of dark chocolate bitterness that adds balance. Very nice. (January, 2013)
