Buchanan's Select Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. Image courtesy Diageo. This 15-year-old is the first Blended Malt in the Buchanan’s range of Scotch Whiskies from Diageo. The nose has a good peatiness balanced by red apples, peaches, and a nice maltiness. The taste is thick and rich with a good smokiness, charred oak, honey, caramel, red apples, a hint of peach pie, and soft spices. The finish is long and gentle with a lingering smokiness. Nice!
