Buchanan’s 18
Country: Scotland
Region:
Type: Blended Scotch
Bottler: Diageo
ABV: 43%
Score: 89 Points
This blended Scotch has a dry nose with notes of freshly-baked fruit cobbler, oak, allspice, figs, and just a hint of butterscotch. The taste has that same fruit cobbler note with ginger, nutmeg, and cinnamon spices, graham cracker pie crust, and hints of honey and brown sugar. The finish lingers nicely with baked apples and peaches, along with touches of ginger and cinnamon. (May, 2014)
