Bruichladdich The Organic 2010
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 50%
Score: 91 Points
The organically-grown barley for this single malt came from the Dalcross area on the Scottish mainland, but everything else about it is pure Islay. The nose is malty with a gentle kiss of heather and touches of honey, lemon pepper, and vanilla. The taste has lemon pepper with a hint of custard underneath and heather, honey, and dried flowers. The finish is long with lingering spices and lemon custard. (March, 2020)
