Bruichladdich DNA 77/32

Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 47.4%

Score: 94 Points

Distilled in 1977 and bottled after 32 years in bourbon casks, this second release in the DNA Series has a nutty rye bread nose with vanilla, plums, dark chocolate, cloves, and a hint of coconut. The taste is spicy, tingling, and effervescent with notes of red grapes, plums, and cloves. The finish lingers with touches of cilantro and cloves. Outstanding!
