Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43.2%

Score: 95 Points

This 100% ex-Bourbon cask matured malt comes from stocks distilled before Bruichladdich closed from 1994 to 2001, and the nose has touches of coconut, dried flowers, pears, lemon zest, and hints of spice. The taste is full of toasted oak, dried fruits, honey, chocolate fudge, and a slightly floral character with a hint of sea salt. The finish has a nice balance of sea salt, coconut, oak, vanilla, and honey. Excellent! (February, 2024)
