This no-age-statement expression from Bowmore is matured in ex-Bourbon casks, and has fruity notes of grapefruit and mango on the nose, along with hints of peat, banana, coconut, vanilla, and honey. The taste has a good balance of peat smoke and fruit with notes of grilled pineapple, cooked banana, a touch of grapefruit, and some honey sweetness to balance it all out. The finish is smooth and fruity with lingering peat smoke. Very nice! (July, 2014)
