Bowmore 25
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt

ABV: 43%
Score: 93 Points
Hard to find, but worth it. The nose has a citrusy tartness with lemon zest, along with classic Islay notes of peat smoke and iodine balanced by honeycomb, subtle spices, and a hint of dried flowers. The taste is smooth with a thick mouthfeel and slightly floral with notes of brine, white pepper, a gentle smokiness, honeycomb, vanilla, and a touch of menthol. The finish is long and aromatic, fading away slowly with touches of spices, dried flowers, and a hint of smoke. (January, 2017)
