Bowmore 2008 Feis Ile Limited Edition

Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 57.1%

Score: 89 Points

This 8-year-old Bowmore comes from three Limousin Oak ex-sherry casks that yielded 800 bottles. The nose is candied orange peel, fresh cranberries, and just a hint of smokiness. The taste is smoky maple, peaches, brown sugar, and dark chocolate, and is very smooth. The finish is dark chocolate, a hint of ginger, peaches, and a touch of smoke.
