Blackadder Statement Jura 30. Image courtesy Glass Revolution Imports.This single cask was filled at Jura in October of 1988 and bottled by Blackadder in March of 2019. The nose has notes of aniseed, white pepper, hints of dried fruits, honey, oak, and a touch of apples. The taste starts off honey-sweet at first followed by a burst of white pepper and clove balanced by dried fruits, honey, and a hint of aniseed. The finish is nice and long with oak, spices, aniseed, and dried fruits. (June, 2020)
