Blackadder Puff Adder Blended Malt. Photo ©2020, Mark Gillespie/CaskStrength Media. This blended malt is a US exclusive bottling from Blackadder, and the nose has a subtle peatiness with a touch of charred oak, butterscotch, dried flowers, soft spices, honey, and linseed oil. The taste has notes of black tea, honey, and lemon with a nice spicy kick of black pepper and clove, a hint of peat smoke, and butterscotch in the background. The finish is long with a hint of spice and a nice sweetness. (June, 2020)
