It was distilled in June of 2014 and bottled in November of 2017 just short of three and a half years old. Don’t let its relative youth fool you, though. The nose has notes of figs, toffee, dates, raisins, plums, and a hint of dark chocolate. The taste has a thick, chewy mouthfeel with an excellent balance of Christmas cake, clove, black pepper, toffee, dates and raisins. The finish is long and spicy with dried fruits, toffee, and raisins. Excellent! (March, 2019)
