Black Bull Kyloe
Country: Scotland
Region:
Type: Blended Scotch
Bottler: Douglas Taylor
ABV: 50%
Score: 88 Points
The name comes from the breed of cattle featured on Black Bull’s labels, and the nose is beefy and robust with a nice maltiness and notes of stewed prunes, plums, ginger, nutmeg, and a touch of dried fruits. The taste is spicy with a cinnamon burst, hints of orange peel, broth, malt, and honey. The finish is spicy and long with fading cinnamon, a hint of clove, orange peel, and honey. Very nice.
