Berry’s Own Selection 1988 Littlemill 25
Country: Scotland
Region: Lowlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Berry Bros. & Rudd
ABV: 46%
Score: 92 Points
This Littlemill single malt from Berry Bros. & Rudd was matured for 25 years in an ex-Sherry hogshead cask, and was bottled with no chill-filtering or added coloring. The nose has notes of dried flowers, green grapes, coconut, banana, vanilla, nutmeg, linseed oil, and a hint of brown sugar underneath. The taste is fruity and vibrant with peaches, red apples, nutmeg, and linseed oil in good balance. The finish is dry, floral, aromatic, and fresh. Excellent! (September, 2015)
