This unique Bourbon takes the regular Berkshire Bourbon Whiskey and finishes it in ex-Laphroaig casks imported from Islay. The nose has a subtle smokiness with muted spices, dark chocolate, crème brûlée, and hints of brown sugar and oak. The taste has a Bourbon sweetness balanced by peat smoke with a medicinal touch of iodine, honey, vanilla, and soft spices in the background. The finish is long, smoky, and ashy with lingering spices. Very unique! (June, 2018)
