Country: Scotland

Region: Speyside

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 93 Points

This unpeated Speyside single malt is designed to show the contrast with Benromach’s core range of lightly peated malts. It’s a 9-year-old mix of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks, and the nose is sweet with touches of vanilla pods, hints of lime and ginger, dried flowers, and a slightly herbal note. The taste is full of pineapple, red apples, raisins, fresh berries, and hints of oak and garden herbs in the background. The finish is nice and long with notes of menthol and white pepper. Very nice!
