Bellevoye Noir Triple Malt. Image courtesy Bellevoye/Les Bienheureux. This French whisky blends single malts from three different distilleries, and including some peated whisky. The nose has just a hint of peat smoke along with dried fruits, caramel, and hints of allspice and ginger. The taste is fruity with fresh berries, tree fruits, nice touches of peat smoke and subtle spices, and a hint of honey in the background. The finish is long with a good balance of fruity notes and spices. (March, 2019)
