This whiskey comes from sourced barrels between 7 and 11 years old selected at Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery in Tennessee. The nose is oaky with notes of honey, molasses, vanilla, caramel, and a hint of spice. The taste is spicy and sweet with chili powder and cayenne balanced by honey and caramel, while the finish is medium-length and slightly dry with lingering spices. (August, 2018)
