This is the first Bourbon released by Hockey Hall of Fame goalie Ed Belfour and his son Dayn, and is finished in barrels made of Pecan wood from near their ranch in the Dallas area. The nose is nutty and sweet with notes of pecan pie, honey, ginger, vanilla, and hints of cocoa and toasted oak. The taste is spicy and nutty, with pecan balanced by white pepper, a hint of cinnamon, ginger, and honey. The finish is long and fades away slowly with consistent flavors from the palate in good balance. Very nice! (September, 2019)
