Score: 92 Points

This Canadian whisky is blended with a small amount of mezcal, then finished in virgin French Oak casks before bottling. The nose is grassy with a nice touch of agave and hints of dried flowers, honey, and vanilla. The taste reminds me of Anejo tequila with agave and citrus notes, while the finish is long with a citrusy tartness. Not for everyone’s taste, but well worth trying. (August, 2022)
