This whiskey is a blend of American and Canadian Rye whiskies with a splash of rum added in. The nose has notes of brown sugar, molasses, charred oak, caramel, and muted spices. The taste starts off sweet at first with a delayed burst of spices, as brown sugar and caramel sweetness complement hints of pepper and cinnamon that fade away slowly and leave the sweetness behind on the finish.
