Each batch of Barrell Bourbon is just a bit different from previous batches, and this batch has a nose of black cherries, chocolate, and hints of nuts and subtle spices. The taste is rich and complex, peppery at first with a touch of cinnamon, then the spices fade to reveal chocolate, stone fruits, and a hint of cherries. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of dried fruits. Very nice. (June, 2024)
