This two-year-old wheated Bourbon from Virginia’s KO Distilling has caramel, campfire smoke, allspice, and hints of honey and brown sugar on the nose. The taste is peppery and tart with notes of lemon pepper, honey, vanilla, campfire smoke, and a touch of spearmint in the background that lasts through the long and subtly tart finish. (July, 2018)
