The Bardstown Bourbon Company team blended this Kentucky Straight Bourbon with sourced whiskies ranging from five to 13 years old. The nose has good spices, charred oak, and a touch of old leather for a nice, complex, and classic aroma. The taste is spicy with clove, cinnamon, and a hint of black pepper balanced by leather, tobacco, and honey notes along with a nice oakiness. The finish is long and oaky with lingering spices.
