The Balvenie Portwood 21
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt

ABV: 40%
Score: 88 Points
The nose is aromatic and complex with a good balance of red grapes, allspice, orange peel, and a touch of ginger. The taste is thick, mouthfilling, and spicy with good cinnamon and allspice notes, orange peel, licorice, and a touch of raisins that comes out as the spices fade. The finish is lingering and tart with a touch of dry red wine and orange peel. Complex and smooth.
