Ballantine’s The Glentauchers 15
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 92 Points
The third 15-year-old Speyside single malt released in late 2017 as part of the Ballantine’s Single Malt Series, from a distillery that produces one of the key component malts used in various Ballantine’s blends. The nose is full of tropical fruits, dried flowers, heather, honey, a slight nuttiness, and a hint of vanilla. The taste is fruity and sweet with brown sugar, orange marmalade, fresh berries, and a hint of honey. The finish is long and mouthwatering with lingering touches of tropical fruits. Excellent!
