This American Single Malt from Balcones is finished in ex-bodega Sherry casks from Spain, with four different types of Sherry represented in the mix. The nose has dark fruits, cinnamon, a hint of baking spices, grilled pineapple, honey, and black cherries. The taste is bold and thick with cayenne pepper and cinnamon, grilled pineapple, figs, dates, cherries, and a hint of paprika. The finish is long and spicy with dark fruits, black cherries, and subtle spices. (October, 2023)
