This single malt was released in late 2016 to celebrate Arran’s 21st anniversary, and comes from whiskies distilled during Arran’s first three years of production and matured in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. The nose is fruity and vibrant with hints of mango, orange marmalade, a hint of apples, and muted spices. The taste is spicy with ground peppercorns, ginger, allspice, honey, and a subtle touch of citrus fruits in the background. The finish is long, warm, and gentle with hints of pepper, ginger root, and a touch of toffee. Nice! (June, 2018)
