This 5-year-old whisky came from 4 ex-Bourbon barrels, and the nose has notes of honey, vanilla, heather, and a gentle peatiness. The taste has touches of lemon zest, black pepper, a hint of peat smoke, and grilled pineapple. The finish is long and peppery with a touch of smoke. (September, 2024)
