Ardbeg Airigh Nam Beist
Country: Scotland
Region: Islay
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46%
Score: 91 Points
Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2008, the nose has notes of peat, pine nuts, honey, and nutmeg. The taste starts off with a honey sweetness before the peat and pepper notes take over. A lingering nuttiness comes out as the spices fade, with an overall smoothness that is almost creamy. The peatiness lingers into the finish with a slight ashiness.
