Ardbeg 1975

Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 43%

Score: 97 Points

The nose is dry and sweet with no obvious signs of peat, but is grassy and slightly herbal. The smooth taste builds to a peppery climax, then fades to reveal notes of olives and slightly tart apples. The finish is smooth and lingering with a kiss of peat.
