Ardbeg 1974

Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46.7%

Score: 97 Points

Heavenly peat on the nose, along with gorse, honey, and nutmeg. The taste is thick and nectar-like with intense peat and spice that fades slowly and seems to last forever with hints of honey and vanilla. The finish is long and smooth to fade with a slight ashiness and a kiss of smoke.
