This year’s edition is the first for head distiller Owen Martin, and he’s created an Angel’s Envy with a nose of milk chocolate, fresh berries, plums, toasted caramel, and red grapes. The taste has notes of dark fruits, white pepper, and cinnamon, and the spices fade to reveal fresh berries, red grapes, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long with lingering spices.
