anCnoc 22 Years Old. Image courtesy anCnoc/International Beverage. This single malt from Knockdhu Distillery in the Highlands was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, and the nose has notes of Christmas cake, dark fruits, honey, and muted spices. The taste is thick, chewy, and slightly dry at first. Spices come alive with clove and white pepper balanced by dark fruits and Christmas cake leading to a long, dry finish with lingering spices.
