The nose has subtle smokiness, along with touches of oak, malt, and brown sugar and caramel for balance. The taste is unexpectedly spicy with cinnamon on the tip of the tongue, but sweet in the back and top of the mouth with brown sugar and hazelnut notes. The finish is lingering and slightly spicy.
