Producing WhiskyCast has given me the opportunity to taste some really amazing whiskies, and I’m pleased to share my tasting notes with you here. You can search my entire database of tasting notes from this page, and I hope you’ll find it useful.
The oldest Amrut bottled so far, with a strong and spicy nose full of black pepper, nutmeg, and toasted bread. The taste is thick and peppery with hints of tartness and citrus underneath balanced by a touch of brown sugar sweetness. The finish balances cinnamon and brown sugar notes well with a slight nuttiness and lingers nicely.
