Master whiskey maker Chip Tate blended this whiskey from a combination of 51% Rye and 49% Calvados apple brandy, and the nose has touches of red apples, baking spices, honey, and vanilla for a clean, simple aroma. The taste is chewy, thick, and spicy with cinnamon, clove, and allspice notes balanced by apple cobbler, honey, and a hint of licorice. The finish is long with lingering spices and a touch of apples.
