Aberlour 12 Non-Chill Filtered
Country: Scotland
Region: Speyside
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 48%
Score: 93 Points
This takes the excellent Aberlour 12-year-old and kicks the flavor up a notch with a nose of almonds, figs, Christmas cake, honey, and a touch of orange peel. The taste is thick and buttery with a great balance of cinnamon, honey, and orange peel notes. The finish is very smooth with orange peel and a hint of black tea. (October, 2011 & December, 2013)
