Aberfeldy 28. Image courtesy Aberfeldy/John Dewar & Sons. This single malt is a travel retail exclusive, and the nose is fruity with notes of peaches, pears, Manuka honey, vanilla, heather, and butterscotch. The taste is tart and fruity with peaches, orange peel, a hint of lemon pepper, honey, vanilla, and butterscotch. The finish has lingering spices with touches of peaches, honey, and vanilla. A few drops of water will bring out the fruity notes even more. (September, 2016)
