Aberfeldy 16 Years Old. Image courtesy John Dewar & Sons,/Bacardi.This Highland single malt has a smooth, luscious, and well-balanced nose with subtle spicy notes of clove, ginger, fresh raspberries, orange peel, honey, and butterscotch. The taste starts off with Christmas cake fruitiness, touches of honey and ginger underneath, and a hint of dark chocolate adds balance. The finish is ling and fruity, but with a slight bitter note of baking chocolate providing complexity. Excellent! (January, 2016)
